Goals&Objectives est une exposition collective d’oeuvres et de démarches artistiques contemporaines d’art urbain, ou plutôt d’art d’intervention qui redéfinit l’espace public sur son propre terrain. Par le détournement ou la fabrication d’objets, ces artistes participent à questionner notre rapport à la ville et à l’urbanisme, transformant ainsi la réalité vécue comme une fiction.
Goals&Objectives brings together artworks and artistic approaches that redefine the public space on its own ground. By the subversion or the creation of objects, the G&O artists searches to question our relationship to the city and to urbanism, transforming the experienced reality into a fiction.

Le jeudi 17 novembre, les artistes du projet Goals&Objectives viendront rendre visite au tmp/lab:
Les diverses pratiques de ces artistes se rapprochent et parfois même se confondent avec celles des bricoleurs, bidouilleurs, programmeurs présents dans nos Hackerspaces. Chez chacun, les enjeux techniques et technologiques se concrétisent de façon inattendue, en déjouant les codes, en cherchant la faille. L’espace public est souvent pour chacun d’eux un espace inspirant, propice au jeu, un champ d’expérimentations ouvert à des fabrications, des actions éphémères ou pérennes, pour se réapproprier ces lieux du quotidien.
Afin d’engager dans ce sens un dialogue sur ces enjeux techniques/artistiques/politiques, nous vous invitons à vous joindre à nous et à nous faire part de vos actions, détournements, interventions urbaines, et à nous présenter toutes sortes de fabrications, astucieuses, perturbantes, dont vous êtes ou non l’auteur. Vous pouvez aussi intervenir à distance pendant la soirée.

On thursday 17th of November, the artists of the Goals&Objectives initiative, will transit through Paris for a series of events, and will come to visit the tmp/lab hackerspace.
The practices of these artists are very close – and sometimes merge with – those of hackers and coders. For all, technical and technological issues are materialized unexpectedly, by foiling codes, by identifying and using flaws. Public space is assimilated to an inspirational playground, a field of experimentations, open to fabrications, to ephemeral or perennial actions which redesign these daily spaces.
To engage a dialogue on these technical/artistic/political issues, we invite you to join and tell about your actions, sub/diversions, urban interventions, and/or to present all kinds of clever and disturbing fabrications, of which you are – or not – the author. Distant interventions possible during the evening.
