Ce hors-série Upgrade! propose de questionner les relations entre art et économie: la valeur d'une oeuvre, l'autonomie des pratiques, des productions et de la diffusion artistiques, les modèles alternatifs émergeants, les notions de dépense, de perte, avec une mise à l'épreuve de l'idée de neutralisation de l'économie artistique.

Ce hors-série ne se rapporte pas au modèle émetteur-récepteur d'une (dé)monstration et diffusion auprès d'un public. Il s'agit d'un processus aux implications multiples, un ensemble d'espaces qui cohabitent et se parasitent, et où différents acteurs de la scène artistique, de la recherche, des sciences etc, se rencontrent. Cette plateforme de réflexion et d'échange constitue une des dimensions économiques de l'événement, et propose un espace critique modulaire qui accepte et alimente ses contradictions.

Avec le lancement de Noplacard (né de l'hybridation entre Nomusic et le Placard), l'inauguration du canal "Télévision Zéro" proposé par Christophe Atabékian sur FreeTVPerso, et le prototype Upgrade! Streaming Session permettant aux 25 lieux du réseau Upgrade de se rejoindre pour 48h de conférences internationales en stream sur Giss.tv.

Le concept est emprunté a Grégory Chatonsky pour décrire des phénomènes artistiques et sociaux qui neutralisent l'économie.

Economie 0 is a special issue of Upgrade! Paris, dealing with the relations between Art & Economy. Within its 48h of lectures, it gathers 500m2 of installations, 3 workshops, a "Noplacard" concert, and a publishing & documentation space.

This special issue of Upgrade! Paris aims to question the relations between Art and Economy: the value of the work of art; the autonomy of the practices, of the artistic production and diffusion; the emerging alternative models; the notions of expense and loss, with a litmus test of the idea of neutralizing the artistic economy.

This Upgrade special issue does not follow the classical transmitter-receiver exhibition system. It is a multiple process, a communal space for cohabitation and interference, and a platform where various actors from the artistic, research & science scene meet. This think-tank is a critical space, which accepts and feed on its contradictions.

The first release of "NoPlacard" (a cross between Nomusic and Le Placard), the inauguration of "Télévision Zéro" on FreeTVPerso by Christophe Atabékian, and a prototype of the Upgrade! International stream session, which allows 25 nodes of the Upgrade Network to meet and share 48h of lectures on Giss.tv.

Economie 0 is a concept by Grégory Chatonsky that describes artistic and social phenomenon, which are not outside neither inside the economy, but neutralizes it.
