{"id":8652,"date":"2019-10-12T10:51:58","date_gmt":"2019-10-12T09:51:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/incident.net\/users\/julie\/wordpress\/?p=8652"},"modified":"2019-12-10T15:14:14","modified_gmt":"2019-12-10T14:14:14","slug":"mourning-jewellery-for-hadaly-a-lespace-gantner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/incident.net\/users\/julie\/wordpress\/?p=8652","title":{"rendered":"\u00ab\u00a0Mourning Jewellery for Hadaly\u00a0\u00bb, \u00c3\u00a0 l&rsquo;espace Gantner"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je participe \u00c3\u00a0 l&rsquo;exposition <em>Hadaly et Sowana, Cyborgs et sorci\u00c3\u00a8res<\/em>, qui aura lieu au centre d&rsquo;art de l&rsquo;espace Gantner (Bourogne, Franche-Comt\u00c3\u00a9) du 12 octobre 2019 au 25 janvier 2020. <br><br>J&rsquo;y pr\u00c3\u00a9senterai \u00ab\u00a0<em>Mourning Jewellery for Hadaly<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, r\u00c3\u00a9alis\u00c3\u00a9e sp\u00c3\u00a9cifiquement pour l&rsquo;exposition gr\u00c3\u00a2ce \u00c3\u00a0 l&rsquo;Aide Individuelle \u00c3\u00a0 la cr\u00c3\u00a9ation (DRAC). Cette premi\u00c3\u00a8re pi\u00c3\u00a8ce inaugure une recherche de 2 ans \u00c3\u00a0 la crois\u00c3\u00a9e de questions \u00c3\u00a9cologiques, de l&rsquo;obsolescence de l&rsquo;homme, et de l&rsquo;\u00c3\u00a9mergence des cyborgs. Elle fait suite \u00c3\u00a0 la recherche pr\u00c3\u00a9sent\u00c3\u00a9e \u00c3\u00a0 The Engine Room (Nouvelle-Orl\u00c3\u00a9ans) et reprend les m\u00c3\u00aames mat\u00c3\u00a9riaux de base : conductivit\u00c3\u00a9 (via des encres notamment) et cheveux. Pour donner une \u00c3\u00a2me \u00c3\u00a0 l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122andr\u00c3\u00a9ide, Edison fait appel \u00c3\u00a0 Sowana, une voyante dot\u00c3\u00a9e d\u00e2\u20ac\u2122un fluide surnaturel.<br>L\u00e2\u20ac\u2122exposition se r\u00c3\u00a9approprie la th\u00c3\u00a9matique de la technologie con\u00c3\u00a7ue comme \u00c3\u00a0 la fois rationnelle et magique, et substitue une vision \u00c3\u00a9largie et non st\u00c3\u00a9r\u00c3\u00a9otyp\u00c3\u00a9e \u00c3\u00a0 celle misogyne du roman. La technologie n\u00e2\u20ac\u2122est pas seulement l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122apanage de g\u00c3\u00a9nies m\u00c3\u00a9canistes masculins qui recr\u00c3\u00a9ent les femmes (naturellement d\u00c3\u00a9fectueuses) selon leurs fantasmes, mais aussi un ensemble de savoirs et de pratiques partag\u00c3\u00a9 par les femmes (sorci\u00c3\u00a8res, sages femmes, gu\u00c3\u00a9risseuses, etc) et mis au service de la survie et du soin de la communaut\u00c3\u00a9 depuis toujours.<br>Nourrie par <em>Le Manifeste cyborg<\/em> de la philosophe Donna Haraway qui d\u00c3\u00a9passe les binarismes et rejette les fronti\u00c3\u00a8res entre vivant et machine, \u00c3\u00a9galement inspir\u00c3\u00a9e par <em>l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00c3\u00a9cof\u00c3\u00a9minisme<\/em> de Starhawk qui r\u00c3\u00a9g\u00c3\u00a9n\u00c3\u00a8re le concept de terre-m\u00c3\u00a8re vivante et sacr\u00c3\u00a9e, l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122exposition r\u00c3\u00a9unit des artistes qui questionnent les technologies au sens large et leur rapport au corps.
