• 09 June 04:
Ram is presented to the" The Demo Founding : DICREAM" (National Center for Cinema) in April 2004 and has win the boursary.

• 02 June 04: A first Demo, for testing RAM is put online.

• 11 April 04: I am actively looking for an online French version of "Through the Looking Glass".

• 08 Juillet 04: Found it! The French version should be online in September, thanks to Alexis' work!

• 17 Septembre 04: Installation of RAM, for the exhibition "Translation", at Basekamp Gallery, Philadelphie, USA.
(exhibition granted by Étant Donné, AFAA).

• 05 Octobre 04: Villette Émergences Festival, conference and presentation of the French version.

• 04 November 04: I just bought a digital camerawith the CNC fund... ready to start the 2nd part of the project. To give me an idea of how it's going to look like, i design the first page. Here.

• 09 January 05: Conference at the Cube on text as image, featuring RAM, Issy-Les-Moulineaux/Paris.

• 14 March 05: I watch Jan Swankmajer's Alice again. The whole thing seems like a countinuous rite of passage, as if the crossing of the mirror had been the main subject of his movie (although it is clearly the first Alice that he is relating)...
It gives me some new ideas on how to go on with the project, and how to inclued the images in a version I will call "Behind Memory".

• 20 avril 05: I try to put my ideas together on what "Behind Memory" is going to be. For the moment, the summary is :
- Producing a texte generator which uses text as a mask on some images which will be chosen depending on the meaning of the texte but randomly in a data base.
- I want to produce the images (both because it seems like an easy solution to be using images from the internet and because the production of images with a black chamber is intersting).
- The use of a black chamber can be seen as a metaphore of the inversed images "projected" by the miror, and the separation of the inside and the outside (as explained by Jonathan Crary in the "Techniques of the Observer").
- I will spend my artist in residence time in Britany (rochefort en Terre, Broceliande forest) gathering the images for the project.
