By moving your hand over a glass surface, you manipulate a video image that represents the hands of a man and a woman. You can make them touch, separate, graze each other. After a while, both hands seem to stop responding to our manual commands. They touch each other freely because the installation exists in another physical space and on the Internet. What we see is now the result of the interaction of others. All interactions are stored in a database and can be replayed later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En d\u00e9pla\u00e7ant sa main au dessus d\u2019une surface vitr\u00e9e, on manipule une image vid\u00e9o qui repr\u00e9sente les mains d\u2019un homme et d\u2019une femme. On peut les faire se toucher, se s\u00e9parer, se fr\u00f4ler. Apr\u00e8s un certain laps de temps, les deux mains semblent ne plus r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 nos ordres manuels. Elles se touchent librement parce que l\u2019installation existe dans un autre espace physique et sur Internet. Ce que nous voyons est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent le r\u00e9sultat de l\u2019interaction d\u2019autres. L\u2019ensemble des interactions est enregistr\u00e9 dans une base de donn\u00e9es et peut \u00eatre rejou\u00e9 ult\u00e9rieurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
