Ce qui m&rsquo;a le plus marqu\u00c3\u00a9e ne fait pas partie de la biennale : elle a lieu \u00c3\u00a0 l&rsquo;<a title=\"Joachim Koester, IAC\" href=\"http:\/\/www.i-art-c.org\/fr\/insitu_expositions.html\" target=\"_blank\">IAC<\/a> (Villeurbanne), il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une exposition cons\u00c3\u00a9quente de Joachim Koester, \u00ab\u00a0<em>Of Spirits and Empty Spaces\u00a0\u00bb, <\/em>incroyable par sa densit\u00c3\u00a9 et la pr\u00c3\u00a9cision des travaux pr\u00c3\u00a9sent\u00c3\u00a9s.<br \/>\nLes premi\u00c3\u00a8res salles\/pi\u00c3\u00a8ces permettent une immersion dans l&rsquo;univers de Koester :<br \/>\nLa premi\u00c3\u00a8re, enchev\u00c3\u00aatrement de doigts sur enchev\u00c3\u00aatrement de planches, dont le titre (<em>Variations of Incomplete Open<\/em>) situe la \u00ab\u00a0famille\u00a0\u00bb artistique tout en posant certains principes que l&rsquo;on retrouve tout au long dans l&rsquo;exposition (d\u00c3\u00a9placement, transposition, transe, chor\u00c3\u00a9graphie, paradoxe conceptuel-sensible..).<br \/>\nLa deuxi\u00c3\u00a8me salle est comme un sas, une lampe marocaine nous y accueille et \u00c3\u00a9claire la photo d&rsquo;un escalier menant \u00c3\u00a0 un ch\u00c3\u00a2teau en ruine? ..Le texte justement, fait r\u00c3\u00a9f\u00c3\u00a9rence \u00c3\u00a0 la mani\u00c3\u00a8re dont est accueilli le narrateur d&rsquo;une histoire potentielle.<br \/>\nDans la troisi\u00c3\u00a8me salle on se retrouve face \u00c3\u00a0 une photo ancienne (imprim\u00c3\u00a9e en grand format) d&rsquo;un int\u00c3\u00a9rieur bourgeois, qui ressemble \u00c3\u00a0 une biblioth\u00c3\u00a8que ou un fumoir. Lorsqu&rsquo;on passe devant le projecteur 16mn situ\u00c3\u00a9 \u00c3\u00a0 l&rsquo;oppos\u00c3\u00a9, se d\u00c3\u00a9clenche sur la photo, comme par magie (en fait gr\u00c3\u00a2ce \u00c3\u00a0 un capteur de pr\u00c3\u00a9sence, le m\u00c3\u00aame que j&rsquo;ai utilis\u00c3\u00a9 pour \u00ab\u00a0<em>le virus s&rsquo;appelait..<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb &#8211; je l&rsquo;ai vite rep\u00c3\u00a9r\u00c3\u00a9 ; ) une projection de ce qui pourrait \u00c3\u00aatre des feuilles de haschich ou encore des vampires\/chauves-souris en train de s&rsquo;envoler. Le titre \u00ab\u00a0<em>The Hashish Club<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, donne raison \u00c3\u00a0 la premi\u00c3\u00a8re version, alors que la salle suivante, des photos intitul\u00c3\u00a9es \u00ab\u00a0<em>From the Travel of Jonathan Harker<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb nous replonge imm\u00c3\u00a9diatement dans la deuxi\u00c3\u00a8me hypoth\u00c3\u00a8se.<br \/>\nPour acc\u00c3\u00a9der \u00c3\u00a0 la 4\u00c3\u00a8me salle, on repasse devant \u00ab\u00a0<em>The Hashish Club<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, et l&rsquo;on prend conscience de ce jeu de va-et vient entre diff\u00c3\u00a9rentes interpr\u00c3\u00a9tations, hypnotisant va-et-vient, sur lequel joue Koester et qui, de salle en salle, nous emm\u00c3\u00a8nera tr\u00c3\u00a8s loin &#8211; sans que l&rsquo;on s&rsquo;en aper\u00c3\u00a7oive &#8211; dans des transpositions entre documentaire et fiction, entre exp\u00c3\u00a9rience intellectuelle et exp\u00c3\u00a9rience sensible.
