J&rsquo;ai finalement regard\u00c3\u00a9 le premier, \u00c3\u00a0 nouveau, hier. Et je sais maintenant pourquoi cette envie co\u00c3\u00afncidait avec les questions relatives \u00c3\u00a0 mes travaux r\u00c3\u00a9cents.<br \/>\nLe lien se r\u00c3\u00a9sume notamment dans cette phrase de Zizek \u00c3\u00a0 propos de \u00ab\u00a0Matrix\u00a0\u00bb, qui ouvre le tout premier \u00c3\u00a9pisode :<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0But the choice between the blue and the red pill is not a choice between illusion and reality. Of course Matrix is a machine for fiction, but these are fictions which already structure our reality. If you take away from our reality the symbolic fictions that regulate it, you loose reality itself&#8230;<br \/>\nI want a 3rd pill.<br \/>\nSo what is the 3rd pill? Definitely not some kind of transcendental pill which enable a fake fast-food religious experience, but a pill that would enable me to perceive, not the reality behind the illusion but the reality in illusion itself.<br \/>\nIf something gets too traumatic, too violent, even too filled with enjoyment, it shatters the coordinate of our reality, we have to fictionalized it.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Et plus loin, en introduction de l&rsquo;analyse de  \u00ab\u00a0The birds\u00a0\u00bb :<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0It is not enough to say that the birds are part of the natural set up of reality. In order for us to act as normal people who interact with other people who live in the space of social reality, many things should happen, like we should be properly installed within the symbolic order and so on, when this \/ our proper dwelling within a symbolic space is disturbed, reality disintegrates.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Ces 2 phrases, je crois, me donnent une  cl\u00c3\u00a9 sur la raison pour laquelle j&rsquo;ai donn\u00c3\u00a9 le titre \u00ab\u00a0My Life is an Interactive Fiction\u00a0\u00bb \u00c3\u00a0 l&rsquo;expo qui va avoir lieu \u00c3\u00a0 la galerie Duplex.<br \/>\nJe me suis questionn\u00c3\u00a9e sur ce titre (au d\u00c3\u00a9part une sorte de blague \u00c3\u00a0 \u00c3\u00a9pisode avec Marie Daubert pour d\u00c3\u00a9crire notre vie sociale), qui m&rsquo;est venu comme une intuition. Mais je savais que derri\u00c3\u00a8re cette intuition, il y avait quelque chose de tr\u00c3\u00a8s r\u00c3\u00a9el, que je n&rsquo;arrivais pas \u00c3\u00a0 d\u00c3\u00a9finir pr\u00c3\u00a9cis\u00c3\u00a9ment.<br \/>\nEt depuis le d\u00c3\u00a9but de la conception de cette exposition, le mot fiction &#8211; et son compagnon en ion &#8211; narration &#8211; me posaient probl\u00c3\u00a8me. Car, malgr\u00c3\u00a9 leur pr\u00c3\u00a9sence qui me semblait essentielle, je n&rsquo;\u00c3\u00a9tais pas en pr\u00c3\u00a9sence d&rsquo;une r\u00c3\u00a9flexion ou dans la construction d&rsquo;une narration fictionnelle.<br \/>\nOui, bien sur, ces travaux en cours parlent de la r\u00c3\u00a9alit\u00c3\u00a9 contenue dans toute \u00c5\u201cuvre de fiction. Mais surtout, l&rsquo;id\u00c3\u00a9e est plut\u00c3\u00b4t de r\u00c3\u00a9fl\u00c3\u00a9chir \u00c3\u00a0 la connexion de ces deux modes de construction du r\u00c3\u00a9cit, sans qu&rsquo;ils deviennent des \u00c3\u00a9l\u00c3\u00a9ments constitutifs des propositions.<\/p>\n<p>La lecture du catalogue \u00ab\u00a0Just a Walk\u00a0\u00bb et quelques discussions plus tard, je r\u00c3\u00a9ussis \u00c3\u00a0 d\u00c3\u00a9finir que ce principe d&rsquo;extension, ces d\u00c3\u00a9bordements de territoires pr\u00c3\u00a9sents dans les diff\u00c3\u00a9rents travaux que je suis en train de produire sont \u00c3\u00a0 la fois structures et principes r\u00c3\u00a9v\u00c3\u00a9lateurs.<br \/>\nCe sont soit des crossovers formels, des extensions de types r\u00c3\u00a9f\u00c3\u00a9rents comme dans \u00ab\u00a0Still On\u00a0\u00bb (r\u00c3\u00a9f\u00c3\u00a9rences \u00c3\u00a0, et extensions du travail d&rsquo;un artiste &#8211; ici On Kawara &#8211; dans un autre m\u00c3\u00a9dium et dans une autre r\u00c3\u00a9alit\u00c3\u00a9) ou encore des d\u00c3\u00a9bordements d&rsquo;espaces g\u00c3\u00a9ographiques r\u00c3\u00a9els, comme dans \u00ab\u00a0Sweet Dream\u00a0\u00bb.
